3 More Months!!!

May 31, 2016

Hey Family,

Looks like y'all had a crazy week with school getting out and now getting everything ready for summer. So this week has been pretty long and hard with transfers and everything. Elder Taeatafa and Elder Ross both left. Elder T went to Hyrum and Elder Ross went to Meridian which I'm pretty excited about. But we got two new Elders, Elder Weaver and Elder Houldridge.

We got to go help out at St. Vincent's and I always helping out there and working with the great people there. But problem is I always find cute clothes which is bad when I am trying to get rid of stuff. Then we were able to walk over to Taco Bell to try and see Jamie and Ariel. We missed Jamie but was able to talk with Ariel for a little bit. She is so funny and are taking it one step at a time with her. Then we got to go to the mall and see Ms. Valerie and she is doing good just busy working. We got to see Debbie to. She is home from the hospital now and so it was really great to visit with her and to help clean her apt.

Are scripture study class has been going really well. We were able to study 1 Nephi 6-7 and it really helps me out a lot being able to read over the Book of Mormon. President Olson has challenged the whole mission to read the whole Book of Mormon in 3 months (about 6 pages a day). So I have been trying to work on that. Also I was able to talk to President about just going home on August 17th. I told him it would just be best to stay out and to just go home with my group and he agreed with that. He said that he is thankful for my diligence and my faithfulness to the Lord's work. The conversation went very well, then he asked about the scripture class and said that he wants to tell the whole mission about it so we will see how that goes. No pressure!

We were ale to see Sammy and Sir but everything is insane. Sammy had 9 family members pass-away this past week, so he is having a difficult time so we are just trying to help him through it.
Sunday during sacrament meeting, the Gardener Family spoke. They just went through the Temple last week and were sealed together and so they were able to share their experiences and also the importance of family and why they are so important. It went very well, then after we went and helped out the young women. They decided to have their New Beginnings during third hour and they were short some girls, so they needed our help. As you can guess the theme was Bees. They had really cute decorations and it turned out very well.

So nothing much happened this week, just trying to take it one day at a time. I hope y'all have a great week. I love and miss y'all!!!!
