Hey Family,
This week has been so much better than last week. We had
Zone Conference this past Wednesday and it turned out better than I thought. I
have heard a lot of things about Zone Conferences and I was a little scared
going into it, but it was a great experience. I was able to hang out with the
other missionaries in our zone. I also got to see people who came out with me
from the MTC, including Sister Poulson. We gave each other the biggest hug and
it was so nice to see her again. Right after the Zone Conference, we went on
exchanges. I went with Sister James and we went to the Jackson Zone. It was
super fun. I wasn't excited about it at first, but I loved every single minute
of it. Thursday was kind of insane, because the GPS took us to the wrong
location and we ended up in South Jackson. Which probably isn't the safest
place for two young sister missionaries to be in. I'll just say that I have
seen the ghetto of Jackson. But we made our way out and we had some laughs
about it.
So the picture that you got last Friday was on Robyn's
phone. Robyn is the one we made fried chicken with. She feeds us every week and
we love her for it. Robyn actually went to USU a few years ago, so we talk to
each other about it. And I just found out that she did Color Guard in High
School so we get to talk to each other about that too. She is so nice to us and
she watches out for us.
Oh so yesterday, I went through my first Bible Bash. It was
a very different situation. This man was telling Sister Ridge that her feelings
about the gospel and the Holy Ghost were false. We tried leaving a couple of
times, but he would just keep on asking us questions. He even asked us to
attend his church, The Pinelake. A lot of people in this area go to this
church. When we were with him, he prayed with us in a prayer circle and asked
that our eyes would be open and that we will find our way to him. After about an
hour and a half, we finally left and my testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints was stronger than when we met him. I just felt Christ's
love for this person and hope that he stays strong in his testimony of our
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
I love you guys so much and am grateful for all of your
prayers. I feel the love and protection from them daily.

There are a bunch of lizards out here.
They don't believe in sidewalks.
So it's kind of scary when cars are driving right next to you.
Found this house while tracting.
Didn't get to knock on it. But they had
a swimming pool in the
backyard with a slide and many other toys.

This is the picture that Robyn texted to us last Friday.
It made our weekend seeing those happy smiles.
